Benefits of Almonds and how to use Almonds for healthy Skin

Benefits of Almonds – Almonds have so many benefits and eating and using almonds naturally makes the skin glowing and good for skin. One of my Chinese colleague used to apply almond oil daily on her hands and elbow and says it makes her skin smooth and a great moisturizer. Why not we try this along with other methods of using almonds which we are going to see now.

There are so many benefits of consuming almonds. I have listed some major benefits below.
1. Lowers the bad cholesterol as it contsins high monosaturate fats.
2. Contsins vitamin E, which is very good for skin. Also check the health benefits of cucumber.
3. Helps to reduce weight loss.
4. Helps to reduce the diabetics.
5. Very good to prevent the heart diseases as it lowers the bad cholesterol.
6. Useful for hair growth

Various ways to Use Almonds for Skin

1. Almonds as Face Scrub

Almonds can be used as a face scrub. It removes the dead cells and makes the skin shine and glowing. Using it regularly, reduces the wrinkles.
Almonds – 8 to 20
Milk – 3 tbsp
Soak almonds in hot water for 2 hrs and drain the water. Grind along with milk in a mortar and pestle. Apply on your face and scrub gently. Check the benefits of potato on face.

2. Almonds as face mask

To make your face look younger and glowing, again these almonds play a great part.
Almonds powder – 2tbsp
Honey – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Mix the above ingredients and apply on face. Leave it for 20 min and wash off with plain water.

 

3. Almond as a body scrub

Almonds as I said earlier, Is a good moisturizer, good source of Viramin E and removed the dead cell. This almond body scrub can be used to remove dead cells the dark necks and dark under arms. Applying it on elbows and knees regularly, makes them smooth.
Almonds – 1/2 cup
Lemon Juice – 4 tbsp
Avocado – 2 tbsp
Milk – 2 tbsp
Grind all and make a coarse paste and rub on the body. Take bath with Luke warm water. ( if you don’t find avocado, use egg white. If neither is available, no problem, you can skip avacago).

 

4. Almond oil for dry skin

Apply almond oil regularly on face, hands and legs to remove the dryness. This acts as a good moisturizer. Better to apply on night and wash your face in the morning.
