How to drink Green Tea if you don’t like it – Green Tea has so many benefits on health and many people advice to drink green tea to stay fit and for weight loss. Every people, including myself, hate to drink green tea because of its taste. I tried Green tea long before (7 yrs before) and stopped tasting it again 😏. Since many of my friends keep on insisting me to drink green tea, I tried Jasmine Green Tea, whose taste I like, but it contains sugar. But I want to avoid the sugar and hence tried alternate methods to make myself like the Green tea.
How to drink green tea if you don’t like it

If you are against sugar consumption, like me, then try adding a tsp of honey to 1 cup of green tea. Honey has its own benefits and can be mixed with green tea.
Also you can add honey in all the below methods while taking green tea.
If you like Ginger, crush a piece of ginger and add to the green tea. Let it sit for 5 to 10 min and drink the tea.
Cut a slice of lemon and add to your green tea. Let it soak for 5 min at least. Then sip your green tea. Check the health benefits of drinking lemon water.
Add Mint leaves
Boil water. Switch off the stove. Add the mint leaves and after 5 min, stain the water in a cup and throw the mint leaves. Now add the green tea bags. Drink your mint flavored green tea.
Add Orange peel
Add Rose petals
In your hot green tea, you can add some edible rose petals. Let it cool and drink your tea. If you want you can drink it hot also. (This was suggested by my friend).

- Choose a quality tea – Yes, choosing a quality green tea is a must. Try to choose loose leaves rather than the tea bags to get a better quality tea.
- Brewing at right temperature and for right time – Keep in mind that you should follow the brewing instructions very carefully. If it is brewing done incorrectly, then they will turn out bitter and you will never ever like the taste of green tea. A properly brewed green tea will have a thick broth and have no bitterness.
- Never add milk – Yes. Avoid adding milk,, because the casein in milk bind with the catechins in green tea making them harder for your body to absorb.
- Drink regularly – If you start drinking regularly, then you will start liking it. 😉
