Yes. Milk is one of the best treatment to cure the dry hair. Take unboiled milk in a bowl. Take a small cotton ball and soak in the milk. Now rub it on the hair from the scalp to the end of the hair. Allow to rest for 1 hr and take the bath with lukewarm water.
2. Eggs
My aunt uses eggs for her hair regularly. Till now, she has thick and shiny hair. Even my cousin use the eggs for hair, than any other alternatives. Here is their tip.

Take 1 or 2 egg whites, depending on the thickness and length of the hair. Mix with 2 tbsp of coconut oil. Beat nicely with hand. Apply this mixture on the hair and let it stay for a hour. Wash it off with mild shampoo or shikakai.
Note:
1. The ratio is 1 egg white : 1 tbsp oil.
2. My aunt never uses the egg yolk, as she says it gives some bad smell. But if you want to use it, use at your own risk.
